Studio Reopening!

It's time to plie in person! We are so excited to announce that on Monday June 15th Studio B Whitemud Crossing is reopening its doors for in-studio classes! There will be some changes (listed below) to studio policies and procedures to ensure we meet and exceed the provincial standards, guidelines and direction from Alberta Health. The safety and well-being of our community and team are of upmost importance to us and all polices will be strictly enforced. Please note we will still be offering LIVE and ON DEMAND classes via Zoom if you prefer working out at home during this time.
Here is what you can expect as soon as you enter the studio:
Studio B will be opened and the doors unlocked 15 minutes before the start of each class. Please remove your shoes, sanitize your hands, verbally check in with the front desk and head right to the locker area to store your belongings in a cubby. We also ask that participants arrive to the studio in their workout clothes, with water bottles filled.
Locker doors have been removed to reduce touch-points and decrease the amount of time required in the locker room. Only 2 people can be in the area at one time and must remain at least two meters apart.
A maximum of 2 people will be allowed in the bathroom/sink area at one time. The middle sink has been blocked off to ensure physical distancing. All complimentary products have been removed from the bathroom (hairspray, makeup remover, deodorant spray, blow dryer etc.)
As soon as you have stored your personal belongings in a cubby we ask that you enter the barre studio and go directly to a designated spot.
Barre classes will be limited to 10 participants to ensure physical distancing. Spacing will be marked on the floor to ensure proper distancing and you must remain in your spot before, during and after class. Classes will be done facing the mirrors which will act as barriers.
Mats and props will be laid out in each designated spot and left there at the end of each class to be thoroughly cleaned by our team members. You are welcome to bring your own mat and equipment to use (weights, bands, ball, air cushion etc.)
There will be no hands-on correcting from our instructors during class.
At the end of class only 2 people can be in the locker area at a time. Please wait in your spot until the previous person has left the locker area.
Showers will not be available to use at this time.
The front door will be locked during class. NO late entry will be allowed. Our cancellation policy is remaining the same at 2 hours for in-studio classes and Barre In The Park classes: NO SHOW CHARGE: $20 + GST or the loss of a pass LATE CANCEL CHARGE: $15 + GST or the loss of a pass You can be added from a waitlist up to 1 hour before the start of class. If you cannot attend class within the 60 minutes notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist or a late cancel charge will occur. ***If you are not feeling well and you have registered for a class, do not wait and see if you feel better, please remove yourself immediately. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms please do not return to the studio unless you have received a negative test or it has been 10 days since the symptoms have cleared up.
